Dudu Tassa

Dudu Tassa, grandson to Daoud Al Kuwaiti, one of the most important masterminds of mondern iraqi music, these days is one of the key figures of the israeli rock scene himself. With no less than 11 album released up to this point, he fuses arabic influences with progressive rock bits and powerful vocals sung in hebrew and arabic. Some might call this eclectic mix “iraq n roll” (which is also the title of a documentary on the talented musician). We met him and his incredibly gifted band for a trippy live session at Bardo Studios, where they performed an intense version of “Latrib Ani Utruch” for us.
