Lauter Leben

A young man sits at the river Spree. He is singing a song only accompanied by his guitar. The young man’s name is Nico Rebscher – singer of the band Lauter Leben from Berlin. The song is called “Es ist soweit”. With captivating words and a smile on his face he is describing an evolving, tender love and the sweet joy of life. A guitar and his voice – the only two things Nico needs to capture his listeners and send them to happy land. His soft voice, the harmonic tunes of the guitar and the sunlight falling through Jonathan Borofskys “Molecule Man” standing in the water is all one needs.

The rock band Lauter Leben, founded in Berlin, supported popular German bands like Silbermond or Die Fantastischen Vier on tour. They have recently recorded their debut album “Richtung Morgen” – after being very successful with their first EP “Auf dem Punkt”. Producers Robert Harder and Robert King, who already worked with Roisin Murphy and White Rose Movement, helped Lauter Leben to create 11 songs by working very hard in London. London was only the first step, followed by mixing in New York. A blend of indie elements and rock parts mark the typical handwriting of Lauter Leben – “handmade, honest music“, as Nico calls it.
