We Invented Paris

Rome may not have been built in a day, but inventing Paris seems to work out pretty fast! After only one year of band history the European artist collective We Invented Paris can look back on over 70 gigs in more than 50 cities. During that time they supported – among others – Kettcar, Octoberman and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.

While traveling through Ireland, singer Flavian Graber discovered his love for live music. His musical roots go a long way back, starting as frontman in the band “Megalomania” in 2001, he ushered his solo career in 2007 and finally invented We Invented Paris in 2010. A group of friends who started to make euphonious Indie-pop with a slight change of arrangement while they are changing. Every song happens with a different ensemble. A concept that already rose up. Their debut album is came out in October and it’s very likely that in order to see the world the boys will soon not be needing to couch surf anymore.

We Invented Paris from Basel, Switzerland stopped by in Berlin during their Tour d’Europe and we met them at Café de Paris – what a coincidence. And what a great place to feel a little Paris in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.
